    Recruiting & Retention Networking Group

    This is a group of HR professionals that are spread across different HR functions, industries and experience levels that meet in an effort to have discussions around all things recruiting related along with strategies and ideas to retain talent (i.e. recruiting strategies, engagement, employment branding, applicant tracking systems, and optimizing the candidate experience! If you want to have fun and continue to strengthen professional relationships in the HR field around recruiting, this group is for you!

    Feed My People Food Bank Volunteer Event


    Join us at Feed My People Food Bank for their Community Action Night!! Volunteer your time to give back to the greater Chippewa Valley. There will be many tasks, including packing emergency food bags, repacking bulk product, and picking orders for our food pantry partners. Together, let's stand against hunger and help our neighbors in need.


    When: Wednesday, December 13 from 4PM to 6PM

    Where: Feed My People Food Bank, 2610 Alpine Road, Eau Claire


    *Hairnets & gloves must be worn (we have these for you). If you'd prefer, you may bring a clean baseball cap to wear in place of the hairnet.

    *Closed-toed shoes are required for your safety.

    *Please park near and enter through Door #1. Follow the signs to the Volunteer Center.

    Session Description: 

    “Mind Matters: The Essential Guide to Mental Health First Aid” is an empowering session designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to offer immediate, compassionate support to those experiencing mental health challenges.  In this presentation, attendees will learn how to recognize the signs of mental distress, provide initial help, and guide a person towards appropriate care.  The session emphasizes practical first aid techniques, the importance of active listening, and how to approach conversations about mental health with sensitivity and respect.  Whether you’re a concerned friend, a diligent coworker, or a community leader, the information presented in this session is invaluable in creating a supportive network that can make real differences in times of crisis.  Join us to become a beacon of hope and a pivotal part of someone’s journey towards healing and discovery.

    Meet Brandy Currie: a passionate force in leadership development.  Certified by the Maxwell Leadership Team as a speaker, trainer, and coach, Brandy brings a dynamic energy to unlocking potential within us all.     Jerilyn Jacobs is a shareholder in Crivello Carlson S.C.’s Eau Claire Office and concentrates on representing employers in labor and employment litigation and counseling clients as to compliance and best practices. Jerilyn represents employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, The Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, and the Department of Labor. She has handled litigation involving Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Wisconsin Fair Employment act, the Fair Standards Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
