Join us for a session on Collaborative Leadership

with Stephanie Schultz on August 22nd!

Program Summary:

Collaboration is the action of working with someone to produce or create something. But how do you produce or create anything meaningful when the people you are trying to collaborate with see things differently than you? Or worse, what if they’re actively work against you or the team?

Understanding the different types of people within your organization - which includes having a good understanding of yourself - can increase communication, foster authentic and respectful relationships, weed out naysayers, accelerate a problem solving culture and produce great results! Join us as we discuss the different types of people in an organization and how to best utilize their gifts. This session will focus on tools that help to awaken our awareness of and compassion for people just as they are. You’ll leave with tools you can put to use right away to accelerate the growth of a collaborative leadership culture in your workplace.

Objectives:

  • Clarify the importance of understanding the different types of people in your organization.
  • Discuss strategies on how to best utilize people’s gifts and neutralize naysayers.
  • Discuss the importance of self-awareness in understanding and responding to others.
  • Explore tools that assist in responding and problem solving in real time.
  • Develop personalized action plans to accelerate the growth of a collaborative leadership culture.

Stephanie Schultz, Marketing & Communications Senior Director at Festival Foods

Stephanie began her career as the first dietitian on the Festival Foods team with goals of connecting the stores’ guests with healthy eating ideas and providing support to those with special dietary needs. Just a few years into that role, Stephanie was promoted to lead the new Communications Department due to her proven record of exemplary leadership. Today, she serves as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications.

While she still oversees Festival’s team of dietitians, Stephanie’s diverse team also includes marketing, communications, branding and ecommerce functions. In addition to leading these areas, she completed a 9-week executive leadership course and was subsequently selected as a company-wide leadership facilitator for her organization. She earned a master’s degree in management with a managerial leadership emphasis, and also maintains her Wisconsin state Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.

Stephanie is a dedicated servant leader and currently serves as president of the Board of Directors for the Greater Green Bay YMCA. In addition, she is an active member of the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance Advisory Board and Food Marketing Institute’s Communications & Consumer Affairs Council.

She holds the distinguished honors of being named one of Progressive Grocer’s Top Women in Grocery in 2016 and was the inaugural recipient of the Retail Dietitians Business Alliance’s Retail Dietitian of the Year in 2014. She also received the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce’s “Future 15” Award in 2013, and the Bay Business Journal named her one of  “20 People You Should Know” in 2011 for her achievements.
