Programming Chit Chat

Is it just me, or did summer go by in the blink of an eye? As much as I love summer, I also enjoy what fall brings – it always feels like an opportunity to start new habits or set a challenge for yourself to hit by the end of the year. Maybe for you it means getting engaged again with CVSHRM and attending the last few programming events of the year! We’d love to have you!

Our August speaker, Stephanie Schultz, walked us through the different types of team members we may be working with and had some great takeaways for us on Collaborative Leadership. September brings the fall leaves and that is exactly what our legal topic is going to be about this year! Jerilyn Jacobs will challenge us with different scenarios in a “what would you do” dialogue, while updating us on the latest and greatest in the world of legal. Skipping ahead to November – we have Al Hill speaking with us about diversity, which is a great kick off to our 2020 Diversity & Inclusion Leadership conference.

The excitement is nearing as we prepare for our October Membership Appreciation party! We have some great prizes this year, as well as a few activities planned and a presentation from our board. We will also announce our nominees for the 2020 open board positions. If you are curious about being on the board – I’d love to chat with you about it! I honestly can say it has brought so many great things into my life!
