2022 Employment Law Update: Creature Comforts.

In this program, we will discuss the latest legal developments, including COVID-related administrative actions and court decisions. We will review the recent court decisions that have made the biggest impact on human resources, and we will talk about the latest trends. We will also discuss difficulties with recruitment and retention, and in doing so, we will break down a headline-grabbing case that perhaps serves as a great example of what not to do.

Jerilyn Jacobs has assisted employers on issues involving discrimination, pay, leave, and employment contracts for 20 years. She regularly represents employers in state and federal court and in administrative proceedings. She also advises employers on a day-to-day basis on issues regarding hiring, discipline, and best employment practices. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California and Cornell Law School, and serves as CV-SHRM’s Director of Legislative Affairs.
